Once again, my friends, it’s time for us to make a hard decision. Starting today, Comics Place, as a building, is going to be closed to the public. We take our role in this community very seriously, and feel right now we need to follow the precedent cities like San Francisco, Seattle, & San Diego have set. Which is to say, closing doors in an attempt to keep all of us safe and healthy. Are we going to miss all of you? More than we can say. Django & Jeff, and the whole Comics Place family get more joy from being a part of your lives than we can say.
You’ve all been incredibly supportive of every move we’ve made in dealing with this situation so far, and we really appreciate that. It makes it all the more apparent that this isn’t just a retail space, but a community that we are proud to be a part of.
We’re going to continue trying to think of ways to stay in contact with everybody, so please let us know if you’ve got any ideas. We’ll keep putting out oversized podcasts designed to keep you in the loop and keep you company while you’re home. Look for Facebook live streams and video updates, or just give us an email or call.

We will continue delivering comics, games, and coffee to your doors through our website, and offering curbside pickup by appointment. We can’t thank everybody enough whose already taken advantage of that, and plans to coming up. It’s going to make all the difference for us as a business as we go forward in these interesting times. Stay positive and healthy, everybody. We’re all in the same boat here, and we’re all going to get through it.
