Wolverine is trying to find the Dreaming Maiden before she is abducted by a member of the Covenant. He battles the formidable Murderous Lion and wins. Elsa, apologetic for shooting Wolverine in the face last issue, decides to partner up with him as they are seeking the same quarry. They find the Maiden but are attacked by the machines of Jefferson Chambers.
