For those who came in late...
Anna has been trying to forget what happened to her last Halloween. She wants to forget almost dying, forget the giant stone Gargoyle that almost ate her, forget Sammy who saved her.
All this time spent forgetting has made Anna forget how to live. The terror of leaving her apartment is only out weighted by the suffocation she feels by staying inside trying to distract herself.
Anna walks the city streets alone in the daylight hours avoiding any personal contact as she lets herself be lost in the music coming through her headphones. As the light begins to fade Anna heads home to end another day of her self imposed isolation and is surprised by what she finds waiting on her street.
It's Sammy.
Sammy, the stranger who had his arm ripped off and acted like it was nothing is now barely able to keep himself upright.
What does Anna do? If she helps Sammy she is sure to be pulled into another night of terror and near death moments. It could end up even worse than last time, but can she really walk away from the person who risked it all to save her?
And more to the point, what could do that to Sammy?
