By speaking the word "Abraxas", Dr. Gargunza causes Miracleman to revert back to Mike Moran. Mike is informed that his magic word won't work for one hour. Gargunza then speaks the word "Steppenwolf", which transforms his dog Pluto into Miracledog.
Dr. Gargunza gives Mike Moran and Evelyn Cream a three minute head start, then sends Miracledog to hunt them down.
