On-sale date, month only, from Amazing Heroes #43. First printing: March 1984
- Letters - Starts on the inside front cover and continues right after the final story. The first page includes an announcement for a Hernandez Bros West Coast tour with a small photo of the bros.
- The Mystery Wen (Heartbreak Soup Theater) - This is the first story featuring Heraclio and Carmen as married adults. Like with the previous issue's story, taking place several years after the events in issue four where Carmen was a child and Heraclio a teenager. The Tonantzin/Tonansin character is not to be confused with Tonansin Carolongas who made a brief appearance in issue four. Though she is drawn differently from her later appearances.
- Mechanics / Las Mujeres Perdidas, part one - Simply titled "Mechanics" on the first page. The story is not given the official title "Las Mujeres Perdidas" until the final page of the concluding chapter in Love & Rockets #11.
- Act of Contrition Part Two - Pepa and Lucy (shown with Luba on page seven, panel one), are unnamed here but will appear again in the artist's Poison River story. The panel in question is redrawn in Poison River, part seven which appeared in Love and Rockets #35.
- Fantagraphics Books Winter 1983-1984 Catalogue - Order info for all the publisher's output. In the second printing these two pages strictly offer Love & Rockets material for sale.
