The Crumbler disintegrates the floor from under the heroes.

Alexander Percy Tuttle has spent his company's money to develop a glove which rends atomic bonds and the three heroes stumble upon his insurance scam. Green Lantern is injured and in a hospital while a protective field he placed around a ruptured gasoline truck fades out, but Green Arrow puts out the fire.

Aliens penetrate Fort Knox and begin to eat the gold, but Batman satisfies them with golden Twinkies instead.
