While transporting the caged mini Godzilla to NYC, Godzilla escapes and lands in the Hudson (this is because Rob had unlocked the latch). S.H.I.E.L.D. begins scouring the city looking for him. Godzilla is unaccustomed to being tiny and almost gets hit by a car as he runs across the street. He falls into a sewer and is attacked by a sewer rat. A vicious battle ensues with Godzilla ultimately killing the rat by setting it on fire with his atomic breath. Godzilla crawls out of the sewer and runs into Rob just as the gas starts wearing off and Godzilla grows to the size of a human.
