Kull and his Red Slayers try to stop worshipers of the nameless serpent god from sacrificing a young woman who has just given birth to the avatars of their god, a twin son and daughter. Knowing the children are a grave danger to the world, Kull commands Tu to slay the babes but his trusted advisor finds he doesn't have the heart for it and gives the siblings to a passing shepherd. Ten thousand years later, Conan deals with the consequences of this action.
Cover date is 1983 but indicia date is 1984.
