- Night of the Demon! - The original art is signed by Sal Buscema near Cyclops' foot but is covered by a caption on the published cover. Info per mikebo and Nick Caputo. After examining the original art Nick Caputo believes Sal Buscema penciled and inked the cover with touch-ups and corrections by John Romita (Cyclops, Professor X and possibly Colossus) and Dave Cockrum who likely revised the Demon's face. He also agrees with Steve Whitaker that Storm was likely added by Cockrum. Steve Whitaker previously credited Al Milgrom on inks. Marvel's Official Index to the X-Men #2 credited Marie Severin on pencils. Marie was previously credited on cover layout but Nick Caputo notes that in this period others, including Cockrum, Romita and Ed Hannigan usually worked on cover designs.
