Tony, in his Iron Man armor, goes to the hospital to see an ailing Happy, but he has been abducted by the Black Knight. A weakened Iron Man battles the Black Knight in and around a castle on the outskirts of Washington. Both are injured in a fall. Iron Man radios for help and Happy is rescued by the emergency services. As they take Happy away they fail to see Iron Man collapsed on the floor and in distress. Meanwhile, Senator Boyd continues to issue threats against Stark for not revealing the secret of Iron Man's armor.

- My Life for Yours! - There are no specific credits for this issue. Instead the splash caption reads: "ALL these bullpen buddies had a hand in THIS one: Stan Lee, Roy Thomas, Adam Austin, Gary Michaels, Sol Brodsky, Flo Steinberg and merrie ol' Marie Severin!" As Roy Thomas and others have explained in greater detail this was Roy's first superhero script at Marvel with some plot assistance from Flo and editing by Stan. Sol Brodsky was production manager.
