Sam and Dan are twins. One of them shoots the other, but has amnesia, so who's really alive and who's really dead?

Bozo crosses the path of a loveable hillbilly named Zeke Punkinhed as he pursues a wanted criminal.

When Happy Terrill's editor's daughter is kidnapped by the Nazi's, he's forced to fire Terrill and cover up Nazi sabotage.

  • The Absent Minded Corpse! - Credits revised as follows by Craig Delich 2013-9-3: Writer from Jack Cole ? to ?, and art from Jack Cole ? to Gustavson per Jim Amash in the Quality Companion (November 2011). Amash states that Gustavson vainly tries to imitate Cole on his first few unsigned stories. The Who's Who only lists Gustavson as artist on this strip. All Gustavson credits verified and courtesy of Terry Gustafson, son of Paul Gustavson.
  • - The top portion of every page of this story includes a sort of "parallel story,", which mirrors Bozo's adventure as a sort of morality play involving a cat and a mouse.
  • The Borgen Art Gallery - Originally credited "Rudy Palais ?" on ink, but Palais has a very marked line from the eye down the cheek in sideview and also a peculiar blot as nostril not connected to the wing of the nose. Not him here. Compare faces in his "Ray" story. The art is identical to William's other credited stories in this feature, #40 and #41, and his signed "Eagle Evans" story in Police Comics #1. Most faces in nearly frontview with only one ear showing, and very large rounded jaw and chin are special.
  • The Story of a Blind Man Who Could See - Nat Edson is recognised by his skewed faces and mouths, very evident on page 2. Compare with his many Roy Rogers stories for Dell. Script credits suggested by the Who's Who.
  • Rabbits Are Dynamite - On two 3/4-pages; the first has the statement of ownership, and the second has a house ad.
  • AH-H-H-H-H-C-H-W-W-W-W-W----- - All Gustavson credits verified and courtesy of Terry Gustafson, son of Paul Gustavson.
