A dancer's new dance partner turns out to be a vampire.
A short lab assistant works on a growth serum to gain a normal man's height. The serum works too well, and he continues to grow so tall his life is endangered when the air becomes too thin to breathe. Just as he is about to black out, the serum wears off, and he is restored to his original height having learned a lesson to be satisfied with the way he is.
A tornado that behaves as though it were under the control of a particular man turns out to be created by aliens to study the man's behavior, and he is killed when the observations are concluded.
A paranoid man seals himself in a bomb shelter, but instead of a war, he misses the discovery of immortality in space and the exodus of humanity.
