Ross returns from Russia and is forced to tell Betty that her husband died saving his life. Betty's mind snaps and she is committed to a sanitarium. Bruce visits Betty to see if he can help but she rants at him as well, beating on him until he turns into the Hulk. Realizing that Betty hates the Hulk, M.O.D.O.K. decides to use her as his instrument of vengeance.
