Sub-Mariner abdicates his throne until #60, leaves Atlantis until #58 The title is an allusion to "Samson Agonistes" by John Milton. This issue has 20 numbered pages with pages 12 and 13 being half pages. Namor reminisces about the origin of his people. One panel shows early cave dwelling Atlanteans fighting off a giant lobster while another panel shows Atlanteans evolving to the point where they mount giant octopuses as tanks during warfare.
