In orbit around Earth, the wounded Centurion Nova-Prime chooses a successor to assume his abilities -- high school student Richard Rider. Rich assumes the costumed identity of Nova and has to battle Centurion Nova-Prime's greatest foe, the conqueror Zorr.

Nova battles Thor, who is under the control of the Corruptor.

- Page 5 appears after the 1st reprinted story, page 6 appears after the 2nd reprinted story. The two aliens on the last page appear to be from the same species as Rommbu (Tales to Astonish #19).
