New X-Men 2001 #151 Direct Edition - back issue - $4.00
150 years in the future, Tom Skylark and Rover rendezvous with E.V.A. in the ruins of the Xavier institute with the Phoenix Egg. They take it back to the X-Men's base, but one of the Beast's Crawlers hitches a ride and steals the Egg. Cassandra Nova and the Three-In-One declare that something is wrong with their whole universe. Back in the present day, Scott is standing at Jean's grave while Emma tries to convince him to reopen the school and stay with her. Scott feels that the costumes and heroics are done, and walks away, telling her that he quits.
