Lobo, the bounty hunter, travels to Bizmo Beach, California, USA, Earth, to capture the vacationing Deadman.
Deadman takes over Lobo's body. They travel to Apokolips where Darkseid's aide, Dr. Serge Kroolman, offers Lobo two million credits to kill himself.
Lobo kills himself. Dr. Kroolman tries to use Lobo and Deadman to figure out how to invade heaven. Deadman takes over Lobo's space hawg and saves the day. Deadman returns to Earth. Lobo booby-traps Darkseid's Mother Box.
