In one alternate reality, the Phoenix Force is not just an entity, but a weapon. The Phoenix Sword as it is called is guarded and wielded by the sorceress, Madelyne Pyre, who inherited the sword from her mother. As Madelyne's time as wielder of the sword is nearly up, she trains little sister Jena in the arts of fighting and magic so she can shoulder the responsibility of carrying such great power.

  • Untitled - There is no sex per se in the comic, but everything is highly sexualized. The two female protagonists, Jena and Madelyne, run around in scant outfits that leave little to the imagination, and the art is downright lascivious.
  • Advertisements - This is What We Know. Imagine What We Don't (anti-cigarette campaign, Truth); Right Guard Xtreme Body Spray (product, The Gillette Company); The Curiously Strong Strips (product, Altoid); Got Milk? (campaign, America's Dairy Farmers and Milk Processors); Can't Go Out Tonight? (DVD/VHS movies, Paramount Pictures); Tobacco is Whacko (anti-smoking campaign, Lorillard Tobacco Company's Youth Smoking Prevention Program); Pirates of the Caribbean (game, Bethesda Softworks); Shadowrun: Duels (game, WizKids, LLC); Primal (game, Sony Computer Entertainment)
  • Promotional Advertisements - Hulk: Unleash the Fury (game, Universal Interactive/Marvel Entertainment); X2 (movie, Dr. Pepper/20th Century Fox/Marvel Entertainment); X-Men: The Legend of Wolverine (DVD, BVS Entertainment/Marvel Entertainment); Spider-Man and the Incredible Hulk are Doing More Than Fighting Crime this Summer (contest, Brunswick/Marvel Entertainment); The Incredible Hulk (party supplies, Unique Industries, Inc.); Start Your Marvel Game Room Now (games, Dufferin Games); Marvel Select Action Figures (toys, Marvel Entertainment/Diamond Select Toys and Collectibles LLC); Wolverine's Revenge (game, Activision/Marvel Entertainment); Hulk 6-20-03 (movie promo, Universal Pictures/Marvel Entertainment)
