The first time she is incarcerated, her claustrophobia kicks in and activates her mutant powers. When she steals a powerful item from the X-Men, they show up to take it back and terrorize Hassel. Angry at the disrespect shown to her mentor, Storm invades X-Mansion to teach the team a lesson. Xavier invites her to stay but she refuses.
