A doctor who transplants ape organs into men to make them healthy is captured by apes who remove his head and place it on a gorilla's body.

An old woman adopts a doll brought to life by a freak electrical accident. Her neighbor tries to take advantage of the doll, and tries to kill the woman when his plan fails. The doll sacrifices itself to save her.

A dream searches for the correct dreamer before midnight, but after trying a couple of sleepers, realizes it has made a mistake and dissolves. The man who was supposed to have a dream about falling from a great height was a convict attempting a prison break. Since he had no warning, he attempted to scale the high wall and fell to his death.

A mystic is accosted by an escaped convict on the road, but mentally sends him to Limbo.

A man asks his gangster brother for money to perfect his shrink gas but when he can't get any he vents the gas outside and his brother walks into it and shrinks. He turns himself in to a police man but the effect is only temporary since the gas is not perfected.

Writer Steve Gerber used characters from three of these reprinted stories as the Headmen, villains first appearing in The Defenders (Marvel, 1972 series) #21 (March 1975). On-sale date from Comic Reader (Street Enterprises, 1973 series) #110, September 1974.
