Ordering his Super-Rats to capture children, Rodent imprisons them in the sewers so that, if the humans try to use pesticides again, the children will die. Nightmare plots to use Cloak to kill Dr. Strange. Cloak and Dagger defeat the Rodent.
Travelling through the Himalayas, Dr. Strange begrudgingly allows Valkyrie to take the soul of Jigme, his guide, who has been injured in an avalanche. Rintrah and Strange arrive at the Lamasery of the Ancient Ones.
