Indicia reads STRANGES TALES featuring WARLOCK. This cover shows approval of the "Cosmic" Code Authority instead of the usual "Comics" Code Authority. The Warlock Omnibus (Marvel, 2022 series) credits the idea and the change to Tom Orzechowski, the letterer of the cover. Jim Shooter (on his earlier blog) believed it to have been the work of Jim Starlin. Shooter believed Starlin got the cover stat just before shipping to the printer and changed the Comics Code Authority seal so it read "Cosmic" Code Authority. No one at Marvel or the Comics Code noticed the change. On sale date from the Comic Reader #114.
