- The Origin of...The Fantastical Four - Per Roy Thomas in Alter Ego # 95 re: Marie Severin's "aided and abetted by" credit on the splash page: "The meaning of her credit..isn't hard to discern; surely, Marie was asked by Stan to do some redrawing, adding more caricatures of the celebrities of the day..It looks like she also drew a few full panels here and there." Nick Caputo adds that Marie also likely redrew many of the Human Torch and some FF figures throughout.
