Mistaken for a murderer, Moon Knight has to clear his name by tracking down the real killer, a racist villain dressed in a rat suit who hates America's immigrant population.
The on-sale date is the publication date reported in the U. S. copyright registration filing. With this issue, the title became Marvel's second direct-market exclusive series. Previous issues had been available through the newsstand distribution system. The title was preceded as a direct-market exclusive the previous week by Ka-Zar the Savage, and the next month by The Micronauts. The three series were distinguished from the rest of Marvel's color-comics line by having no outside advertising or barcodes on the cover.
