Mysterio tries to convince Spider-Man that he is going crazy and reveal his secret identity.
Thor evades the villains and transforms back into Dr. Blake, then pretends to betray Thor in order to get his cane back. He becomes Thor and defeats the Cobra easily, though Hyde escapes by becoming Calvin Zabo and slipping away. Hyde attacks Thor later, but is defeated. When Blake returns to the office he discovers that Jane hates him because of his seeming betrayal of Thor.
We learn in flashback how the Puppet Master escaped death at the tentacles of a giant octopus. He then takes control of Johnny, and sends him after Alicia romantically, in order to set him and Ben against each other. 8-page fight ensues!
