Jupiter considers who he can send to save the world from Pluto's machinations, and settles on his son Mercury. - - Inside front cover includes images from interior stories. Credits include Roy Thomas, Sol Brodsky, Gary Friedrich, John Verpoorten, Stan Goldberg, Morrie Kuramoto and Flo Steinberg.
- The Reprehensible Riddle of... the Sorcerer! - The Spider-Man story in this issue was originally intended for the Amazing Spider-Man series at a time when John Romita (the usual artist for Spider-Man) injured his wrist and Ross Andru stepped in to create this fill-in story. However, John recovered in time and was able to draw the previously planned story so Ross' story was published here (info from the Marvel Super-Heroes wiki).
- Mercury 20th Century - "Mercury 20th Century" on the splash page but "Mercury in the 20th Century" on the contents page. Art and lettering credits from Greg Theakston. Harry Mendryk disputes the Kirby inking credit at http://kirbymuseum.org/blogs/simonandkirby/archives/621
- Tournament of Doom! - Title from cover. Stan Lee writer credit removed based on information from the Timely/Atlas discussion list.
