Joey and Doyle go off to get Joey's Ape Sex record, but each person they contact has lent it to someone else. Maggie is resting due to her poorly healed childhood ankle injury. Izzy is getting evicted leaving Hopey scrambling to find a place for her and Maggie, but Terry offers to take them in. Izzy is moving in to the supposed haunted house she inherited from the deceased Mrs. Galindo.

Vicente and his friend, broke, down and out and unemployed, maintain their friendship while dealing with the harsh indignities of daily life.

Rocky recalls how her relentless wanderlust for the stars came about, how the temporary space portals she encountered allowed her to fulfill that passion and how she came to be permanently stranded in the planet Mako Mato in this series finale.

Luba has fallen into a deep hole but is too embarrassed to accept help, preferring to find a way out herself. A bruja has arrived in town. Sheriff Chelo nervously indulges her request to get her feet tended to, hoping she'll leave quickly. Unfortunately, Boots steals the bruja's leather sack which contains a baby skull. She throws it over a rooftop after which it falls into the hole where Luba is, hitting her head. The bruja accuses Chelo of stealing it and stares at her intensely.
