While some of the more senior members of the JSA consider the membership of the group, Black Adam rescues Isis from Felix Faust. Together, Black Adam and Isis confront Shazam and take his power. Later, when Billy awakens powerless in Fawcett City, he summons the JSA. Meanwhile, Black Adam and Isis recruit an ally.
The story credits indicate there is a Jerry Ordway variant cover edition of this issue, but none exists.
