Justice League of America 1960 #171 - back issue - $5.00
At the annual Justice League of America-Justice Society of America get-together, Mr. Terrific claims that he's come out of retirement to track his old enemy the Spirit King, but he won't say any more until the right moment. Baffled by Mr. Terrific's odd behavior, the heroes try to proceed with the event, but it isn't long before there is a hole blown in the side of the side of the satellite and Mr. Terrific's body is found floating in the vacuum of space.
The Joker's plot to steal a valuable painting is foiled even though he tried to distract everyone with Hostess Fruit Pies.
