The origin of The Flash and his battle against The Faultless Four, spies who have kidnapped Joan Williams' father and who all die.

An unnamed enemy is attacking US planes in Alaska and Cliff is sent to find them. Once there, he teams up with Lys and rescues the trapped airmen.

Recounts the final battle between Hath-Set and Prince Khufu and their first battle as the reincarnated Doctor Hastor and Carter Hall (Hawkman).

Johnny's life story is told up to the point where he begins to command his Thunderbolt, without knowledge of what he is doing.

Billy completes an experiment he and his father had been working on and takes the resulting weapon into space during a raid on Jupiter, intent on unleashing it upon Ralph "The Ruthless " Farnhan.

Jim Devlin frames ventriloquist Harry Dunstan for a murder, to get him out of the way for the affections of Madge. Harry goes to prison, with Red, but eventually Devlin is found out and imprisoned, which frees Harry.

The new Whip, affecting a Spanish accent, is aided by girl friend Marisa Dillon, not to mention his horse King, in freeing Carlos from jail.
