No copyright registration was filed for the issue. There is no official on-sale date. The issue's "First Notes" publisher promotional page indicates it went on sale in January 1986. More specific promotional information from the time is contradictory. The listing in Amazing Heroes #86 says the expected on-sale date is January 14. The one in The Comics Journal #104 gives an expected date of January 21.
