- Biology Class - This is the first time Elizabeth Twoyoungmen is seen as an adult; she becomes Talisman in #18. The Plodex is the alien race whom Marrina belongs to. This race is never named in this issue nor in Alpha Flight #16, November 1984, when it reappears and in which Marrina refers to it as her 'mate'. The first time the 'Plodex' name is revealed is in Marvel Team-Up Annual #7, October 1984.
