Everyone in Smallville has turned green and Superboy can feel the effects of Kryptonite. So he believes the Kryptonite Kid is involved and goes after him in space. Superboy defeats the Kid, but learns he is not responsible for what is happening in Smallville.

Aqualad finds an old man who reveals that Aqualad is the son of the former king of the Idylists, Thar. Thar was killed by the Idylists, and Aqualad is quite upset about it.
